WHITTIER – As part of a nation-wide initiative, U.S. Postal Service officials Tuesday will locally demonstrate the advantages of using the agency’s Web site for almost any postal need. For the Postal Service’s “skip the trip” to the post office campaign, officials will be at the Bailey Station Post Office, 6709 Washington Ave., beginning at noon today to show customers how easy it is to go onto the site, USPS.com, to complete almost any postal transaction on line. According to the Postal Service’s news release, customers can go to the site to find post office locations and hours, manage mail delivery while traveling, create printing labels and even request a free package pick up. Business owners can use the site to find pricing comparisons for shipping options, supplies, desktop postage, and easy instructions to create postcards and letters to better reach and identify customers, the agency’s release states. 165Let’s talk business.Catch up on the business news closest to you with our daily newsletter.
