Serie A group training gets all clear, season decision May 28

Topics : “The important thing will be to restart with the firm intention of completing the championship, then the federations will decide the modalities and formats to be adopted.”The revised protocol will allow group training, but not oblige players to remain permanently in the team’s sports center. In the case of a positive test only the infected player will be placed in two-week’s quarantine, while the team group will be placed in isolation, and monitored, but can continue to train together.FIGC president Gravina praised the decision “as a decisive step on the path of restarting football in Italy”.The Italian season has been on hold since March 9 amid the pandemic which has killed more than 32,000 people in Italy.Serie A teams have been training individually since May 4, and had been hoping to return to competition on June 13.The FIGC pushed that date back to June 14 on Monday in line with a government decree that all sports competitions be suspended until next month. Italy’s Serie A teams have been given the green light to resume group training but will have to wait until May 28 to know whether the season can resume, Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora said on Tuesday.Spadafora told Italian television that government scientists had accepted the Italian football federation’s (FIGC) revised health protocol.”The Scientific Technical Committee have approved the FIGC protocol for the resumption of team training,” Spadafora told Rai. “It is excellent news, collective training can now resume. “The FIGC have reviewed its first proposal with clarifications on the quarantine time in case of a positive test, but above all the famous initial self-isolation is avoided.”Spadafora said he has slated a meeting on May 28 with FIGC president Gabriele Gravina and Lega Serie A chief Paolo Dal Pino to decide on the return to competition.”We will then decide if and when Serie A will restart,” he said.  read more

What channel is Browns vs. Colts on today? Time, TV schedule for 2019 NFL preseason

first_imgMORE: Watch Browns vs. Colts live with fuboTV (7-day free trial)The best Browns position battle to watch in Saturday’s game against the Colts is the fight for the No. 2 cornerback spot between Terrance Mitchell and Greedy Williams. Due in part to his play in Indianapolis this week, one eventually will earn the right to start opposite Denzel Ward in Cleveland’s base defense. The Colts will be interested in the play of those Browns corners, too, because they will be matched up against the receivers who are battling to be the No. 2 receiver behind T.Y. Hilton in Indianapolis. A name to watch in that competition is Daurice Fountain, who broke out with a big game last week to cement his place in the position battle.Below is all the info you need to watch Browns vs. Colts on Saturday, including the TV channels nationally, in Cleveland and in Indianapolis. What channel is Browns vs. Colts on today?TV channel (National): NFL NetworkTV channel (Cleveland): WEWSTV channel (Indianapolis): WXINLive stream: fuboTVWith its 4 p.m. ET start time, Browns vs. Colts gets the spotlight as the first nationally televised NFL game of the day on Saturday. It’s one of eight Week 2 NFL preseason games scheduled to be played in front of a national audience. Nobody needs to watch Browns vs. Colts on Saturday to get a feel for how good Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield can be this season. His top receiving targets, Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, won’t play in Week 2 of the preseason. But those two didn’t play last week, either, and Mayfield still became a headliner thanks to his performance in one quick drive against Washington. Now the NFL preseason schedule sends the Mayfield show to Indianapolis, where Cleveland might again send out its starting QB to run a two-minute drill seemingly just for the hell of it. Locally, the TV channel for Browns vs. Colts in Indianapolis will be WXIN. In Cleveland, the game can be seen on WEWS.As for a live-stream presentation, Browns vs. Colts can be seen on fuboTV. 5 things Donegal people do during festivals

first_img(1) The final night of any festival is the best excuse to dig out your favourite outfit and get dolled up to the nines. Of course if anyone compliments us on our attire we’re reply in the typical, modest, Irish way by saying “what, this old rag? It’s just something I fired together at the last minute”  (2) Donegal people are partial to a few pints to celebrate festivities. We might be convinced to go out “for just one” – but we know deep down it’ll be six or seven. (3) If you’re at the Dungloe festival, you might pretend to not be too interested in who wins the Mary from Dungloe. In reality, you’ll be waiting with bated breath to see if your favourite Mary wins. There’s also a chance that you might bump into the legendary D.O.D. Again, you’ll pretend to be cool and collected, when really you’ll be brimming with excitement.  (4) Single Donegal people will scope out the attractive tourists. A bit of Facebook stalking might ensue. (5) But mostly, festivals are a chance for people to come together and share a good bit of craic and ceoil. Many of Donegal’s fantastic festivals have concerts, family events and even the odd Donkey Derby. For a full list of Donegal’s festivals, just go to govisitdonegal.com    5 things Donegal people do during festivals was last modified: July 31st, 2016 by Elaine McCalligShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:donegalFESTIVALSirish peoplesummerlast_img read more
